This year Bridges organised 5 Sharing Ramadan events in Cardiff and 2 in Bristol, enabling people to visit a mosque (many for the first time) and learn about what this time of year means to the Muslim community.

Christmas is a time for celebrating love and friendship, for getting together with others, having fun and eating mince pies, so this Christmas we did just that with around 100 members of the refugee and asylum seeking community in Bristol!

On Friday we had the pleasure of hosting a special Christmas event for Syrian families who have recently arrived in Bristol. The event was held in partnership with Bristol City Council who have overseen the resettlement of 10 Syrian refugee families in 2016.

In June this year, we ran our annual Sharing Ramadan events in cooperation with local mosques in our local communities.
